Recently, Chenzhou City held the first Commending Congress for Top Ten Military-Supporting Enterprises and Excellent Military-Supporting Units, which was not only the high-standard commending congress for military-supporting enterprises and units, but also the first large-scale activity since the establishment of the Municipal Administration of Veterans Affairs.

At the congress, Hunan Xiasheng Industrial Co., Ltd., Chenzhou Jingui Silver Co., Ltd., Gospell Digital Technology Co., Ltd.and other 10 enterprises were awarded the "Top Ten Military Supporting Enterprises"; Yizhang Taixin Construction Co., Ltd., Linwu Southern Mining Co., Ltd. and other 7 units were awarded the "Excellent Military-Supporting Enterprises".

This Commending activities embodied the new achievements and actions of our city's enterprises in the work of "double supporting". While focusing on their own development, commended enterprises and units actively devoted themselves to social public welfare undertakings, gave full play to their own advantages, carried out extensive activities to support the military, practiced their social responsibilities with practical actions, and made outstanding contributions in caring for and supporting national defense undertakings, caring about the employment and life problems of veterans, actively participating in military-civilian integration and inheriting red genes, becoming an outstanding representative of the military-supporting enterprises in our city.

Zhang Jun, Deputy Mayor and Director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, said that we should reassure soldiers in the military, create a stronger atmosphere for supporting the military, and let enterprises and all sectors of society play a more prominent role in the work of military supporting; should take this award as an opportunity to firmly implement the current and long-term work of supporting each other.
