The development of Anren industry is mainly based on the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine, new materials, high-quality flue-cured tobacco and rural tourism. The county completed agricultural output value of 1.68 billion yuan in 2018, an increase of 4.4% compared with the same period last year, which was recognized as the action demonstration county of "Good Grain and Oil in China". This year, the county will vigorously develop the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicines, increase the planting area, highlight intensive processing, increase the added value of traditional Chinese medicines, and form the industrial chain of traditional Chinese medicines.

Li Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of Anren County Party Committee and County Governor said that the most important thing was to cooperate with the Chinese Pharmaceutical Group to build Anren Chinese Medicine Industrial Park and upgrade the planting stage of Chinese medicine to processing stage and cold chain distribution level through cooperation to realize the transformation and upgrading of our entire industry.

Through the large-scale construction of industrial projects, the county has supported high-quality development, carried out in-depth investment and industrial project construction of industrial projects, and focused on cultivating the development of Sany Industrial Park and Wanhua Board Industry Chain to form a new industrial cluster.

Li Jianjun said that Sany Heavy Industry has invested 1.5 billion yuan in Anren County, and completed 200 million yuan of investment at present. Then some factories of Sany Construction and Sany Intelligent Manufacturing have been built and put into operation. In the next three years, 15 billion yuan of investment and 3 billion yuan of production capacity will be realized.

The county has continued to carry out three major battles in depth to consolidate the effectiveness of overcoming poverty, vigorously implement the strategy of rural revitalization, and focus on the development of agricultural and rural economy, so that poor households can achieve a leap from 500-600 yuan to 2,000 yuan in monthly income; actively deepened the supply-side structural reform and the business environment reform, give impetus to the reform and strive to create new vitality for development.

Li Jianjun said that the traditional Chinese medicine industry has gradually transformed from planting to processing, that was to say, upgrading from the primary industry model to the secondary industry model.
