On the morning of January 28, the launching ceremony of "World Wetland Day" in Chenzhou was held in Xihe National Wetland Park of Chenzhou City. The event was jointly organized by Chenzhou Forestry Bureau and Suxian Forestry Bureau and more than 50 people participated in the event. The active personnel and volunteers distributed more than 160 wetland science popularization materials and environmental protection bags to tourists, and hung promotional banners at major traffic intersections. They also issued circles of friends in WeiChat, QQ and other media to stimulate the staff and workers'sense of responsibility of "starting from me, starting from now on, cherishing wetlands like our eyes, and jointly defending our green home".

The event with the theme of "Wetlands and Climate Change" aimed to recognize that wetland ecosystems can prevent, cope with and resist the negative impacts of climate change, and emphasize the importance of enhancing wetland participation in the process of climate change through international cooperation, so that we can work together to protect and restore this magical wetland. In the face of climate change, we are not powerless. Wetlands have become the key to stabilize greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the impact of climate change to promote rural development.
