Recently, Li Dajian, Director of the Provincial Security Committee and Director of the Provincial Emergency Management Department, led the investigation team of Provincial Emergency Management Office to conduct an investigation on the safety production and emergency management of coal mines in Chenzhou. Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, made a joint investigation.

Li Dajian and his party went to Jiedong Coal Mine of Hunan Coal Industry Group, Dushanxiao Coal Mine of Yongxing County, Forest Fire Prevention Command of Yongxing County Forestry Bureau and Flood Control and Drought Relief Command of Yongxing County Water Conservancy Bureau, and learned about the safety production, fire prevention and disaster rescue of Chenzhou coal mine through on-the-spot inspection, questioning and listening to reports.

Li looked around and asked questions from time to time. He also gave guidance to safety workers on how to do a good job in safety production.

Li Dajian fully affirmed Chenzhou's achievements in safety production in recent years. Li pointed out that we should inherit good practices and experiences and continue to carry them forward and persevere; keep a clear mind, recognize the existing risks and situations, and tighten the production safety at all times; make the utmost determination to remove the hidden dangers of coal mine safety and provide guarantee for the high-quality development of Chenzhou; firmly abide by the basic law of safety in production, strengthen the ideological and cultural construction and emergency management construction of safety production to ensure that production safety is manageable and controllable; make every effort to build a large emergency response system, boldly and actively exercise the functions of comprehensive emergency management, and build a strong contingent of emergency response with the relevant requirements and regulations of the Central Committee; actively build emergency contingents according to the discipline requirements of the army; make a good overall plan for the safety work in production throughout the year.

During the investigation, Liu Zhiren pointed out that it was necessary to further focus on the main responsibility of enterprises for safety, strictly guard against paralysis, enhance risk awareness, and do well in equipment, technology, system and other work with high standards; further strengthen supervision responsibility, strengthen supervision at the municipal and county levels, improve the ability of supervisors and ensure that law enforcement penalties are in place; further strengthen the systematic services of enterprises, make every effort to improve the internal management of enterprises, strengthen the construction of enterprise culture, and make due contributions to local economic and social development.
