Beihu District organized 6 professional and semi-professional fire fighting teams in its jurisdiction to conduct emergency drills for forest fire fighting teams in Siqing Lake Youth Afterschool Activity Training Center. Members of five regional teams, the relevant leaders of the Municipal Forest Public Security Bureau, the heads of the member units of the district forest fire prevention headquarters, and the principal leaders of the party and government of the townships (streets) have observed and inspected the "2.6" fire scene in Baohe Yao Township.

The purpose of the emergency drill was to draw lessons from the "2.6" fire accident and comprehensively enhance the operational capability of the forest fire brigade in Beihu District. With the background of simulating forest fires in mountain fields around Siqing Lake, and with the standard of highlighting actual combat, approaching actual combat and serving actual combat, the operation of mobile long-distance high-pressure fire pump, the laying of fire hose 1500 meters, the launching of high-pressure water pump to shoot target hydrogen balloons and other forest fire control subjects were carried out. After the commander issued the instructions of "start of emergency drill", the teams quickly organized the team members to carry mobile long-distance high-pressure fire pump and other equipment to the designated scene for rescue and disposal. In accordance with their respective division of labor, the team members carried out their work in an orderly manner and efficiently completed various exercises. Baohe Yao Township, Huatang Township and Lutang Township won the top three.

After the emergency drill, Beihu District also organized the "Lantern Festival and Qingming" Forest Fire Prevention Deployment Meeting in 2019, briefed the "2.6" fire situation and accountability, and arranged the deployment of forest fire prevention work in the next stage.
