On February 26, Jiahe County held a forum on the development of foundry industry, inviting Ma Hongru, Deputy Secretary-General of China Foundry Association, to guide the development of foundry industry. Heads of County Economic and Commercial Bureaus, Economic Development Zones and other departments and some representatives of foundry enterprises participated in the foundry. Xiao Dingzhou, Standing Committee of the County Committee, attended the meeting and made a speech.

At the forum, Wu Rengui, Deputy Director of Consultation Service Center of China Foundry Association, introduced the policy orientation and development trend of foundry industry from the aspects of production change of casting, environmental protection status of foundry industry, national environmental protection regulations and policy trends, emission standards and emission requirements of emission permits. Subsequently, the county's relevant functional departments, some representatives of foundry enterprises and experts from China Foundry Association had in-depth exchanges on the development prospects of industry, equipment transformation, talent recruitment and other aspects.

Based on the investigation, Ma Hongru believed that the development of Jiahe foundry industry has a certain foundation, distinct product characteristics and a larger space for promotion. We should continue to do a good job in top-level design of foundry industry, guide the development of industry with industrial planning, accelerate the pace of upgrading, do a good job in guiding industrial policies, support some leading enterprises, and strengthen the role of demonstration and leadership; promote access to foundry, strictly comply with relevant standards for construction, improve the establishment of relevant public service platforms, create regional industrial brands, and actively promote enterprise precision management.

Xiao Dingzhou pointed out that during the forum, experts from China Foundry Association made inquiries and suggestions for the development of foundry industry in Jiahe County, and gained a lot of guiding opinions and suggestions. Jiahe County will take this symposium as an opportunity to integrate resources and restructure industries to provide solutions for enterprises to meet the national standards for access to foundry industry as soon as possible. At the same time, the county will vigorously cultivate leading foundry enterprises to become bigger, better and stronger, and take the road of green foundry development.
