Recently, it was learned from the charity development report meeting of the Municipal Charity Federation that in 2018, the Municipal Charity Federation raised 31.9469 million yuan of charitable funds, spent 24.1695 million yuan on charitable assistance, benefiting more than 30,000 poor people; injected 6 million yuan of charitable funds and accumulated a total of 66 million yuan, which played an important role in targeted poverty alleviation, social security and relief in our city.

Last year, the Municipal Charity Federation vigorously implemented the projects of poverty alleviation through serious illness medical treatment, directional donation and skills training for major illnesses with the theme of targeted poverty alleviation, and carried out 32 relief projects such as "Golden Leaf Charity Medical Card" caring for patients with major diseases, caring for uremia patients, 10,000 people rehabilitation project, bone and joint replacement for poverty alleviation, caring for poor children, helping the disabled and orphans, assisting teaching and learning, respecting the elderly and children, helping the poor, caring for women and caring for veterans of the Anti-Japanese War. The philanthropic funds raised in 2018 mainly came from Tencent's "99 Public Welfare Day" activities, with the network public raising funds of 5.5786 million yuan and enterprise directional donation funds of 6.4823 million yuan. Among the funds spent on charitable relief, a total of 12. 8969 million yuan was spent on 32 relief projects, temporary relief and network public fund-raising and network charitable public welfare projects, and a total of 11.2726 million yuan was spent on the directional donation fund assistance for enterprises.
