Recently, Feng Haiyan, Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and the Minister of Propaganda, came to Guiyang County to investigate the cultural tourism work, and called for full efforts to promote the development of cultural tourism industry. Zhu Yanghui, County Deputy Party Secretary and County Governor, and Liu Jiuzheng, County Party Committee and Director of the Propaganda Department, participated in the investigation.

Feng Haiyan and his delegation went to Cherry Garden of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Shennongfeng Manor to learn about the planning and construction of cultural tourism projects in the county.

In 2018, Guiyang County adhered to the tourism development concept of "year-round, global, fine, classic", vigorously implemented the "six-one" project of tourism industry, promoted the development of global tourism, expanded the visibility and reputation of Guiyang tourism, and promoted the sustainable and healthy development of tourism industry in the county. It received 7.9072 million tourists in the whole year, an increase of 39.23% over the same period, and realized the comprehensive tourism income of 6.259 billion yuan, an increase of 31.99%. In 2019, the county will make full use of the opportunity of "Key counties of high-quality tourism routes in Hunan Province", give full play to the advantages of tourism resources, guide the participation of social capital, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of global tourism.

Feng Haiyan pointed out that we should publicize and diversify marketing in all directions, and actively create tourism brand; should combine tourism projects with cultural characteristics, highlight cultural characteristics, learn from advanced experience from other countries, innovate and plan tourism activities, and give full play to the maximum benefit and value of tourism resources; should continuously improve the level of service, improve the relevant facilities and functions through meticulous management, and make every effort to promote the great development of Guiyang cultural tourism industry.
