On March 13, Yi Pengfei, Municipal Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, led a team to Linwu County to investigate economic and social development. Yi Pengfei pointed out that we should implement the strategy of "Innovation Leading, Open Rising" and "Industry Leading and All-round Development" to ensure the improvement of economic development, harmony and stability of social overall situation, and more solid, better, more coordinated and sustainable development.

In Linwu County Calcium Carbonate Deep Processing Industrial Park, Yi Pengfei went into the project construction site and listened carefully to the project construction report.

Linwu Calcium Carbonate Industry Project, launched in 2018, is one of the "five 100" major industrial projects determined by Hunan Provincial Government. According to the overall requirements of "five green areas and one special area", i.e. green parks, green mining, green factories, green processes, green products and small towns with industrial characteristics, the project aimed to complete the construction of industrial projects, forming an annual production of 5 million to 10 million tons of calcium carbonate industry system, employment of more than 20,000 people.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that the development and construction of calcium carbonate projects should adhere to the concept of "ecological priority and green development", and strive to build green mines, ecological mines and clean mines; should be well planned, adhere to planning first, and show the characteristics of "green park, green mining, green factory, green technology, green products and industrial towns" through planning; should pay attention to environmental safety and production safety, resolutely eliminate all kinds of potential safety hazards, and be able to withstand the safety assessment of authoritative departments; should form industrial chain and product system, and improve the added value of products through intensive processing; should make full use of idle land resources to build a modern industrial park in the mountains and valleys.

In the Gemstone Cultural Industrial Park, Yi Pengfei said that we should introduce international and domestic jewelers, build the logistics center and distribution center of gemstone, form the agglomeration effect, and take the development path of high value and high quality.

Yi Pengfei and his party came to the Dishuiyuan Scenic Spot. Dishuiyuan Scenic Spot, located in the east gate of Xiyao Green Valley National Forest Park, about 4 kilometers away from Linwu County Town in a straight line, belongs to the karst grand canyon landform, with the main landscape of waterfall sightseeing, steep cliffs and exotic stones.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that we should deal with the relationship between the development and protection of scenic spots, minimize the damage to the environment in the process of construction, and do a good job in the development of Dishuiyuan Scenic Spot in the protection; should create scenic spots with attractions, selling points and aftertaste, create excellent tourist routes, enrich tourist products and enhance tourists' sense of experience; should speed up the improvement of scenic spot infrastructure and tourism supporting services to meet the long-term development needs of tourism.

Yi Pengfei also inspected the construction of Hunan Jiushen New Energy Co., Ltd. and Hunan Shenghai Electronics Co., Ltd. in the Linwu Industrial Park.
