Recently, the founding meeting of "The Belt and Road" (B&R) Chenzhou Mining Specialized Committee was held in Chenzhou, with the theme of "Starting reform and opening up, constructing from mining to B&R, developing international capacity cooperation".
 

Building B&R is a national strategy personally advocated, designed and promoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping. From 2013 to 2018, 122 countries and 29 international organizations have signed the B&R cooperation agreement with China. All over the country have responded and actively acted to take the initiative to connect the B&R national strategy and create a new platform and new highland for local reform and opening up. As a world-renowned Chinese mineral resource and "World Nonferrous Metal Museum", Chenzhou has integrated into the B&R construction and carried out international mining capacity cooperation, with great potential and broad prospects. In this great trend, the Nationwide Mining Specialized Committee has emerged as the times require.
 

The meeting read out the "Approval for the Establishment of B&R Mining Professional Committee", deliberated the adoption of the "Brief Introduction of B&R Mining Specialized Committee", the "B&R Mining Specialized Committee Standard Operation Regulations (Trial Implementation)", and the "Organization Plan of B&R Mining Specialized Committee", and gave a licence to the B&R Mining Specialized Committee.
 

Wu Dingyin, Chairman of Hunan Liansheng Survey and Design Co., Ltd. was elected as the first Chairman of the Mining Committee. Wu Dingyin said that the establishment of B&R Mining Specialized Committee has been highly valued and strongly supported by relevant departments. He will work with all members of the Standing Committee and the Mining Specialized Committee to fulfill their duties and responsibilities, advance bravely, and make great efforts to contribute to the international development of the B&R Mining Specialized Committee, the mining industry and the mining enterprises. The B&R Mining Specialized Committee will fully grasp the B&R, bring new development opportunities to Chenzhou mining industry, fully understand the obvious advantages of Chenzhou mining integration into the B&R, and practically promote the integration of Chenzhou mining into the B&R construction.

The meeting will take the principle of "openness, inclusiveness, sharing and building up" as a basic principle, widely gather all sectors of the power and resources, set up a platform for private international mining cooperation promotion platform, think tank platform and project landing docking platform, actively implement the national B&R strategy, promote mining enterprises to "go out" to carry out international cooperation, and promote Chenzhou's integration into the B&R construction for Chenzhou's new development to make a positive contribution to Chenzhou's speeding up the development of open economy in the new era.
