Recently, the author learned from Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism and Sports that the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage published the "List of the First Revolutionary Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Areas in China", and identified 15 revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization areas. Among them, Chenzhou City was included in the Hunan-Jiangxi area. Rucheng County, Beihu District, Suxian District, Guiyang County, Yizhang County, Yongxing County, Guidong County, Anren County and Zixing City were on the list.

According to the official website of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, among the 15 revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization areas, there were 5 areas in Hunan Province, namely, Jinggangshan area, western Hunan-Hubei area, Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi area, Hunan-Jiangxi area and Hunan-Hubei-Sichuan-Guizhou area, and a total of 52 county-level administrative regions were included in these five 5 areas.
It was understood that Chenzhou has abundant resources of revolutionary cultural relics, including thousands of movable revolutionary cultural relics, 171 revolutionary sites and 6 revolutionary museums and memorials. Relevant departments in Chenzhou will establish a cooperative mechanism to form a collective force, constantly improve the level of protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics, develop the value connotation and cultural elements of revolutionary cultural relics, develop more cultural and creative products, and better play the important role of revolutionary cultural relics in promoting revolutionary spirit, inheriting red genes and promoting economic and social development.
