Chenzhou city held the opening ceremony of Xue Leifeng's blood donation and Xinglong pedestrian street blood donation house in 2019, which marked the re-upgrading of our city's blood donation service.

On October 1, 2003, Xinglong Pedestrian Street Blood Donation Point was officially opened in our city and the mobile blood-collecting car was adopted at that time. On June 2, 2011, the city's first blood donation vehicle landed on Xinglong Pedestrian Street, becoming a civilized landmark. Nowadays, the blood donation vehicle was further upgraded to the blood donation house. As the first blood donation house in our city, not only the facilities and equipment of blood collection have been completely updated, but also the whole LED display screen has been added to play the propaganda film of blood donation in real time. With the integration of blood donation platforms such as blood donation recruiter, self-service drinker and photo printer, the blood collection environment is more spacious, bright and comfortable.

According to statistics, the blood donation point of Xinglong Pedestrian Street has provided blood donation services for nearly 100,000 citizens in the past 10 years. 52.5 thousand people participated in voluntary blood donation at the blood donation point, totaling 20.83 million milliliters, which has made positive contributions to ensuring adequate and safe supply of blood for medical and clinical use in our city and ensuring the health and life safety of the whole city's people.
