At the meeting, they organized and studied the important article "Several Issues Concerning the Persistence and Development of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" published by General Secretary Xi Jinping in "Truth Seeking" magazine. The participating Party members made a study discussion and speech around the theme, combining their work.

Yi Pengfei said that history and reality tell us that only socialism can save China and only socialism with Chinese characteristics can develop China, which is the conclusion of history and the choice of the people. General Secretary Xi Jinping's article elaborates four aspects that should be understood systematically and not separated. In this programmatic document, General Secretary Xi Jinping firmly affirmed that we must unswervingly adhere to and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics, thoroughly analyzed and expounded the fundamental theoretical and practical problems of socialism with Chinese characteristics, clarified the major political and ideological theories, and greatly condensed the ideological consensus of the whole Party and the whole people in continuing to write a new chapter of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

After listening carefully to the speeches of the Party members, Yi Pengfei encouraged the members of the First Party Branch of the Municipal Party Committee to improve their political standing and take the lead in learning and practicing. General Secretary Xi Jinping's "Several Issues Concerning Upholding and Developing Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" is an extremely important programmatic document of our Party. Party members and cadres in the whole city must learn in time, earnestly, repeatedly and in combination. In particular, as the central organ of the Municipal Committee, the Municipal Committee Office should take the lead in learning and practicing, deeply understand the significance of the articles published, deeply understand the scientific system, rich connotation, spiritual essence and practical requirements of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and constantly improve the political, ideological, theoretical and emotional identification of the CPC and socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Yi said that we should grasp the core essentials and take the lead in resolving the "Four self-confidence". As a party manager, in the process of article learning, we must accurately grasp the core meaning, always keep a clear understanding of road issues and a high degree of vigilance, and always firm road self-confidence, theoretical self-confidence, institutional self-confidence and cultural self-confidence.

Yi said that we should take the lead in Chenzhou's affairs and implement them in detail. Municipal Party Committee Office is the strong outpost and consolidated backyard of Municipal Party Committee. The image of Municipal Party Committee Office directly represents the image of Municipal Party Committee, and the working level of Municipal Party Committee directly represents the working level of Municipal Party Committee. We should take the lead in combining our own post functions, put the practical requirements of "Four possibilities" on the specific work of "three services", and make every effort to ensure the efficient operation of the Municipal Committee. Party office comrades should strengthen the confidence, and maintain their strategic determination and unswervingly promote the implementation of all deployments, no matter how the situation and tasks change; should strengthen the abilities, further enhance the comprehensive quality, improve the concept and level of grasping the work, and earnestly put forward more opinions and suggestions which are beneficial to development, work and decision-making around the implementation of the strategy of the Municipal Committee of the CPC; should strengthen the construction of the work style, always practice the work style of "practicality, earnestness and implementation", take the lead in resolutely breaking down formalism and bureaucracy, in dedication and overcoming difficulties, and in implementing various disciplinary provisions, and earnestly shaping a good image of the Party's personnel.
