In order to further enhance the public's health awareness, on the morning of April 11, the Health Bureau of Suxian District organized the promotional activities on the theme of World Health Day at the Xifengdu Fair Market, including the District CDC, the District Maternal and Child Planning Center, the Fourth People's Hospital of Chenzhou City and the Xifengdu Central Health Hospital. This year's theme was "Maintaining everyone's health and building a well-off society in an all-round way", which aimed to help people better understand the meaning of universal health coverage - what services and support should be provided, and where to provide them.

At Xifengdu Fair Market, the people attracted by the free clinics. Experts from all departments of the Fourth People's Hospital patiently inquired about people's physical condition, dietary habits, exercise and lifestyle, carefully measured blood pressure and blood sugar, and do eye examination for the masses, provided suggestions on healthy lifestyle for the masses based on the examination and inquiry, and guided the masses to start from prevention. At the same time, medical staff also distributed health knowledge such as hypertension, diabetes and other chronic diseases prevention and treatment on the spot, and vigorously publicized health care of traditional Chinese medicine, better reproduction and education, and 66 items of health literacy.

At the promotional activities, more than 300 health counseling and free clinics were received, and 800 condoms and more than 2000 publicity materials were distributed. The activities have effectively enhanced the people's health concept, improved the people's health literacy, and laid the foundation for the broad masses to form a scientific and rational diet habits and develop a healthy and active lifestyle.
