On April 12, the preparatory mobilization meeting of the 7th China (Hunan) International Mineral Gem Show (CMGS) was held. Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, attended the meeting.

The 7th CMGS is scheduled to be held in Chenzhou from May 17 to 21, 2019, sponsored by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and undertaken by the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government and the Hunan Provincial Department of Natural Resources, with the theme of "Magic Mineral Crystals, Colorful Bismuth". The exhibition area of the core pavilion is 120,000 square meters, with a total of 2800 international standard booths.

The report on preparatory work of the 7th CMGS was heard at the meeting, and the participating units made discussions and speeches. Liu Zhiren affirmed the previous work done by the relevant departments, and said that the comments and specific requirements put forward at the meeting were very pertinent, so we must implement them well after the conference.

How to ensure that the annual CMGS has its own characteristics and better ideas? Liu Zhiren said that to satisfy all sectors of society, the key lies in not only seeking practical results, but also being good at innovation. Each responsible unit should further strengthen the sense of mission, opportunity and responsibility, adhere to the responsibility of serving the exhibition, focusing on attracting investment, and actively do a good job of "CMGS +" in combination with its own position, so as to make positive contributions to the implementation of the strategy of "innovation leading, opening up and rising" and "industry leading, comprehensive development" and the high-quality development of Chenzhou's economy and society.

Liu Zhiren pointed out that we should plan the development path of the CMGS with a broader vision, find the right orientation, recognize the weakness and clear direction, adhere to the "six-oriented" (internationalization, marketization, specialization, standardization, branding and industrialization), further clarify the relationship between the government and enterprises, optimize the operation mode of the CMGS, and fully stimulate the vitality of the main market; should strive to improve the quality of exhibition, build brand and improve efficiency with quality, build international brand of CMGS with higher standards, implement "Internet + Exhibition", and give full play to the role of professional team.

How to ensure the success of the 7th CMGS? Liu Zhiren requested that the "one office, five departments" of the Preparatory Committee should been operated effectively and the leaders in charge should concentrate their efforts and strengthen dispatching. The departments should further refine their plans, implement their responsibilities and work together; vigorously publicize and promote to create a strong atmosphere; strengthen coordination and dispatch to guarantee the work progress; compact the security responsibility to guarantee the harmony and stability; do a good job of logistical support to be meticulous and thoughtful; grasp the precise investment promotion to promote the industrial cooperation.
