The Construction of Opening Strong City and Promotion Conference of Jade Industry, sponsored by the Chenzhou Municipal Committee and the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government, was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong on April 17. In his speech, Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou and Hongkong are geographically and commercially close and have laid a good foundation for cooperation in the past. After long-term cooperation, Hongkong has become Chenzhou's largest source of foreign investment and the largest import and export market.

Liu Zhiren pointed out that Chenzhou and Hongkong are facing great opportunities for cooperation because of their complementary and mutually beneficial industries. With the deepening of national strategies such as the Yangtze River Economic Zone, the Great Bay Area of Guangdong, Hongkong, Macao, and the demonstration area of undertaking industrial transfer in southern Hunan and Western Hunan, and the closer connection between Chenzhou and Hongkong, the cooperation is facing new opportunities. Liu looked forward to strengthening cooperation with Hongkong in various fields and achieving continuous results.
