On the morning of April 21, the 6th Chenzhou Children's Reading Festival, with the theme of "Reading Classics, Learning New Knowledge and Linking to a Better Life", was launched in Wuling Square. Thousands of students and parents came to the scene to roam the sea of books, advocating nationwide reading and letting the fragrance of books enter more families.

At the event site, picture books and fantastic three-dimensional book exhibition area surround the main stage, crowded with students and citizens who come to read.

10 "families of readers" and 36 "teenagers of readers" were commended at the event. Parents said that parents' reading habits are the most important factor to guide their children to love reading. In addition, parents can reasonably guide by participating in some interesting reading activities and so on, so that families can be filled with reading atmosphere.

It was understood that the 6th Chenzhou Children's Reading Festival, sponsored by the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports, and undertook by the Chenzhou Library and the Chenzhou Fucheng Volunteer Association, included picture books and three-dimensional book exhibition, popular science campus tour, dictation contest, theme reading experience, 21-day reading growth plan, the "families of readers" and "teenagers of readers"exhibition, picture book adventures and reading, read promotion training and other series activities.
