Reading enlightens wisdom and achieves life. On April 23 is the 24th World Book and Copyright Day. Teachers and students gathered in the playground of Haotang Town Central School in Guiyang County and recited Disciples' Rules.
Haotang Central School is a six-year rural primary school with more than 700 students, most of whom are left-behind children and lack of extra-curricular reading materials. At the end of last year, Li Yingying, Director of Guiyang Baicao Garden Research and Development Co., Ltd., learned about this situation, and funded the establishment of a book reading room for the school, with bookcases, desks, chairs and so on.
On the same day, Baicao Garden Bookstore of Haotang Central School was listed, and the county library donated a number of books to the school. After class, the students rushed to the bookstore, took their favorite books from the bookcases and sat in the chair to enjoy them.
Li Ping, Headmaster of Haotang Central School, said that he would give full play to the role of Baicao Garden Bookstore, build a literary campus, light children's heart lights and let them roam in the vast sea of books.
