On April 22, the National Reading Promotion Conference of Yongxing County in 2019 was held in Chaoyang Primary School.

In recent years, Yongxing County has built more than 600 free leisure reading bars, established a bibliographic library with more than 37000 books, created a new mode of national reading with the guidance of the government, stratified design and people-oriented concept, and effectively enhanced the people's sense of cultural acquisition and happiness.

In view of this year's reading education work, the conference pointed out that we should further deepen our understanding and open up a new normal of county-wide teaching, research and reading education work; should always adhere to the leading role of teaching and research and reading education, improve the quality of education by strong teaching and research and normalized reading of teachers and students, and strive to create new highlights of teaching and research and reading education in the county, so as to ensure that teaching and research and reading work go up to a new level and achieve new results.

Tang Guolin, County Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda, presided over the meeting and made a speech. Luo Yanhua, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, Zhou Lu, Vice-Chairman of the County People's Government, Ouyang Chongzhi, Vice-Chairman of the County People's Government, and Deng Yourong,Vice-Chairman of the County CPPCC, participated in the meeting.
