Recently, Municipal CPPCC organized a symposium of the CPPCC Secretary-General in the whole city to convey the spirit of the Provincial CPPCC Secretary-General's Conference, study and deploy the next stage of work, and promote the quality and efficiency of the CPPCC work.

The meeting pointed out that the CPPCC of counties (cities and districts) should persevere in guiding the work with Xi Jinping's socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era, further improve their political standing, clearly state politics throughout the whole process and all aspects of the CPPCC work, accurately grasp the nature of the CPPCC, accurately locate the orientation and focus of its service, and earnestly improve its performance level; should strengthen responsibility, seek the overall situation of work, strengthen department coordination, and constantly promote the work of the CPPCC to improve quality and efficiency; should set up quality orientation, continuously improve the quality of political proposals, highlight social conditions and public opinion, and strengthen informatization construction and the construction of CPPCC members; should adhere to the leadership of Party building, further strengthen the Party building of CPPCC organs, strengthen the construction of cadres and work style of CPPCC organs, and promote the quality of CPPCC' s performance.
