Recently, Han Yongwen, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth Provincial People's Congress and Deputy Director of the China International Economic Exchange Center, led the investigation group to investigate in Chenzhou City and hold a symposium on the promotion of industrial transfer in southern Hunan and Western Hunan, as well as the cultivation of distinctive industries and the docking of related work in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Great Bay Area.

Han Yongwen and his delegation went to Yunwu Mountain High-quality Homestay, Xingning River Estuary Wetland, Chenzhou Qibin Photovoltaic Glass Co., Ltd., and Chenzhou Changxing New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. to understand the development situation, current situation and outstanding problems of Chenzhou's characteristic industries in detail by watching the scene and listening to reports. In recent years, Chenzhou City, relying on the Great Cross Town Cluster, has focused on the development of metal (lead, zinc, bismuth, silver), new materials (metal new materials, energy storage new materials, high-end graphite), new generation of information technology (communication terminal equipment and supporting), housing industrialization, leisure and vacation tourism, exhibition and other industries, and has built an important non-ferrous metal intensive processing base in the central region, and demonstration zone for undertaking industrial transfer in Southern Hunan.

At the subsequent symposium, the participants put forward many opinions and suggestions on strengthening policy support, strengthening traffic construction, strengthening factor guarantee, optimizing business environment and so on. The investigation team pointed out that they will actively report to the superiors and strive for more support in response to the comments and suggestions. They also hoped that Chenzhou could develop a number of characteristic industries on the basis of its local resource advantages; undertake projects with high quality and selectivity, actively introduce some high-tech industries and enhance industrial added value; adhere to ecological priority, practice green development, and strive to promote industrial transformation; increase investment and attract investment, and effectively undertake industrial transfer at home and abroad.
