Recently,the first "Tongtian Jade Cup" Jade Carving Works Competition, Jade Carving Masters Symposium was held. Liu Yang, Deputy Secretary of the County Committee and County Governor, attended and delivered a speech.

In order to improve the fame and reputation of Tongtian Jade, Xianghua Jade and Shunlong Jade in Linwu County, develop talents in jade carving industry, inherit and innovate jade carving technology, carry forward Chinese jade culture, enhance the cohesion, identity and self-confidence of national culture, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of Linwu jade industry, Gems and Jewelry Trade Association of China and Linwu County decided to co-sponsor the first "Tongtian Jade Cup" Jade Carving Works Competition. The jade carving industry enthusiasts, professional jade carvers, design teachers and students of major universities all over the country can participate in the evaluation and the material of the works must be Linwu County's native Tongtian Jade, Xianghua Jade, Shunlong Jade as creative materials.

Liu Yang pointed out that carrying out the "Tongtian Jade Cup" Jade Carving Works Competition is to show the beauty of Tongtian Jade through the ingenuity of the masters, to explore the cultural charm of Tongtian Jade and to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the jade cultural industry. He sincerely hoped that every master could introduce Tongtian Jade to more jade enthusiasts, so that more people can understand Linwu, enter Linwu and fall in love with Linwu.

At the meeting, the participating jade carvings masters also expressed their opinions and suggestions on improving the level of creation, expanding and strengthening the development of Linwu jade culture industry.
