819 million yuan Invested in Transportation Planning Projects

Recently, according to the Chenzhou Transportation Bureau, Chenzhou City has completed an investment of 819 million yuan in the provincial transportation plan projects from January to May this year, ranking second in the provincial cities and states.

This year, Chenzhou City plans to invest 1.587 billion yuan in fixed assets of transportation. From January to May, Chenzhou City has completed an investment of 819 million yuan in the provincial transportation plan projects, accounting for 51. percent of the provincial annual plan; completed 599.23 kilometers of people's livelihood project, natural village cement road construction, accounting for 56 percent of the provincial people's livelihood practical tasks; completed 245.98 kilometers of upgrading and renovation of rural roads, accounting for 49.69 percent of the provincial people's practical tasks; 5 trunk road projects have entered the pavement construction stage.

This year, the construction plan of trunk road in Chenzhou City is to start construction of 4 new projects, including the highway from Zixing Gaoma to Dongjiang, totaling 75 kilometers, and the interchange project of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Highway and Yizhangbei; complete the road from Zixing Xingning to Yutouping and other 7 projects, totaling 171 kilometers; complete 4 subgrade bridge and culvert projects, including Linwu Zimu to Chujiang Highway, totaling 58 kilometers.
As for rural highways, Chenzhou City plans to complete the construction of 1487 kilometers of natural village cement roads and 1536 kilometers of rural roads by upgrading the quality; as for road network structure, plans to start 58 new dangerous bridges and complete 22 renewal projects, and complete 1603 kilometers of road safety life protection project; as for passenger and freight terminals, plans to complete 2 grade freight terminals and 130 rural passenger stations, promote planned key transportation logistics projects, and promote the construction of bus stops, hub stations, first and last stops and charging piles (stations) for new energy vehicles; plans to build a number of water transport projects and implement transportation poverty alleviation projects at the same time.
