Recently, the "Planning" of Linwu County Xiyao Green Valley National Forest Park to create the 4A Scenic Area passed the expert evaluation.

On the same day, the evaluation group composed of Huang Jingbo, President of Tourism College of Xiangnan University, Xiao Xing, Professor of Tourism College of Guangzhou University, and so on, has carefully reviewed the overall planning and design scheme of Xiyao Green Valley National Forest Park to create the 4A Scenic Area, and put forward the evaluation opinions.

The experts pointed out that the design scheme of the "Planning" has advanced ideas, clear strategic objectives, scientific spatial layout and accurate product positioning; has comprehensively sorted out the current situation of tourism resources development in Xiyao Green Valley Tourism Area, deeply analyzed the existing problems, development opportunities and advantages, and scientifically planned the differentiated development ideas based on the development trend of mountain tourism and forest leisure vacation tourism in China, with certain innovation. At the same time, around the strategic objectives of building Xiyao Green Valley into a national tourist resort and a national 4A-level tourist attraction, the "Planning" has put forward a clear development concept, development strategy, development model and target system, which has strong foresight and guidance; taking the spatial development pattern of "one belt, two cores and three districts" as the starting point, the "Planning" has planned a number of excellent leisure and holiday tourism projects, reasonably outlined the blueprint for the development of Xiyao Green Valley Tourism Area, and put forward reasonable ideas and plans in brand building, innovative development and project development and operation, and defined measures, which are highly operable.

The expert group agreed that the "Planning" passed the evaluation, and recommended that the compilation units, on the basis of fully absorbing the expert group's opinions, could further modify, enrich and improve the results, and submit for approval and implementation in accordance with the procedures.

Xiyao Green Valley National Forest Park, based on the local and surrounding urban markets, integrates the thematic landscape elements such as mountains, forest villages, valleys, waterfalls and karst caves in the region, excavates and extends around the source of the two rivers and Yao culture, injects Yao cultural symbols into the main water theme, and constructs ecological sightseeing, outdoor sports and culture experience, popular science exploration, rural entertainment, waterfront vacation and other series of forest eco-tourism products system, forming an original ecological leisure and vacation tourism area which integrates forest ecology, water theme and Yao (culture) symbols.
