On the morning of June 20, the opening ceremony of Hunan (Chenzhou) Energy Saving and Emission Reduction and New Energy Industry Expo（CESEXPO）and the launching ceremony of Energy Conservation Publicity Week were held in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Liu Zhiren, Vice Party Secretary and Mayor, announced the launch of the event.

At the event site, the "2018 National Economical Public Institutions Demonstration Units" was awarded. Zhang Junliang, Party member and Deputy Director of the Provincial Government Offices Administration, awarded the "2018 National Economical Public Institutions Demonstration Units" to the Yizhang County Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau and the Rucheng County Reshui Town People's Government.

"Practice green development with wisdom, cultivate saving habit with perseverance, disseminate the concept of ecological civilization with enthusiasm, and prevent the waste of energy and resources with courage." In his speech, Zhang Junliang expressed the need to consciously implement the new concept of energy saving, actively advocate a new life of low carbon, strive to promote energy saving and consumption reduction in our province and win the blue sky defense war to achieve high-quality development and set a good example for the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.

After the ceremony, the leaders and guests witnessed the public welfare cycling activities together. After reading out the energy saving initiative, 100 volunteers set out from Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center and rode all the way to Wuling Square to practice the concept of green travel, energy saving and environmental protection.

In addition, during the Expo period, Chenzhou Municipal Public Institutions Energy Saving Knowledge Training, Hunan Province Industrial Energy Saving Green Development Summit and Energy Saving Signing Ceremony were held at the same time, which will explore a new way of green, low-carbon, cyclic development for all regions, and provide new opportunities and space for the development of new energy industry.

More than 50 enterprises participated in this Expo, mainly involving provincial and municipal achievements and planning, low-carbon, energy-saving, new energy vehicles, intelligent household appliances, communications and other frontier new technologies and innovative products in various fields and industries. Suxian, Guiyang, Yizhang, Rucheng, Guidong, Chenzhou Economic Development Zone and so on jointly built the "Chenzhou" theme pavilion.
