2019, the Hunan Wushu Festival and Competition ended in Changsha, a beautiful star city. Yongxing County Wushu athletes, with the spirit of courage and tenacious struggle, won 29 first prizes, 13 second prizes, 5 third prizes, 3 fourth places, 2 fifth places and 3 sixth places. Among them, the adult group won 19 gold medals, the junior group won 11 gold medals, and the number of gold medals ranked first among the provincial and county-level teams. Yongxing County was awarded the "Contribution Award of Promoting Wushu" by the Organizing Committee of the Competition.

It was reported that in the 2019 Hunan Wushu Festival and Competition, there were more than 10 provincial and municipal Wushu teams from Beijing, Guangdong, Henan, Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangxi, Yunnan and Guizhou, as well as more than 10 nantional Wushu teams from universities and colleges, as well as more than 200 provincial Wushu teams, and more than 10 international Wushu teams from the United States, India, Pakistan and Southeast Asia. 250 teams and more than 5,000 people gathered in Changsha to participate in the fierce competition.
