Recently, three students Hu Hui, Liu Liangli and Zhu Linwei from Yongxing Special Education School, won five gold medals in the "Genius Cup" National Children's Painting and Calligraphy Competition in 2019 sponsored by the Chinese Children's Painting Research Association.

The five works that won the Gold Prize were Hu Hui's "Lovely Cat", "Goose in the Moonlight", Liu Liangli's "Elf" and "Beautiful Girl", and Zhu Linwei's "Zhuge Liang". The instructor Jiang Yan won the second prize of "National Instruction for Children's Painting Education and Creation".

It was understood that the process of Dabujiang Quilting Embroidery is divided into drawing graphics, cutting paper patterns, matching cloth, edge wrapping of rags, blending and assembling of rags, and graphic embroidery, very complicated. These special children, using their unique concentration, vividly and meticulously embroidered beautiful works the corner fabrics and used clothes in their hands.

In recent years, Dabujiang Quilting Embroidery has taken Yongxing Special Education School as an incubation point of education and employment, and established a "Care Inheritance Base" in Yongxing Special Education School to teach deaf-mute children the skills of quilting and provide them with a way to make a living in society.
