On June 26, a symposium on some key enterprises in Chenzhou mineral gemstone industry was held. The leaders of relevant municipal units, mineral gemstone associations and some key enterprises participated in the symposium, and expressed their opinions around the development of Chenzhou mineral gemstone industry and the mineral expo.

At the symposium, the Municipal Bureau of Conference and Exhibition briefed on the basic situation of the 7th China (Hunan) International Mineral and Gemstone Expo (CMGE). A total of 310,000 people attended the 7th CMGE, with a turnover of 1.79 billion yuan. The CMGE has become an international grand event of mineral gemstone exhibition, cultural exchange, popular science education and product trading.

"The development of Chenzhou mineral gemstone industry should follow the road of brand development and integration development." "Chenzhou should make use of the platform of CMGE to make Chenzhou brand internationally." At the symposium, participants spoke actively and put forward opinions and suggestions for the development of mineral gemstone industry in Chenzhou and the holding of the next CMGE.

The meeting pointed out that we should "remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind" in the development of the CMGE. The purpose of this symposium was to gather people's wisdom to promote the development of mineral gemstone industry and CMGE. The meeting demanded that all relevant enterprises should strengthen the study and exchange among the industries, broaden the pattern and expand the international horizon; actively participate in the CMGE, make suggestions, and promote the construction of Chenzhou's "Mineral Crystal Capital"; make every effort to promote the development of the mineral gemstone industry; shoulder due mission and responsibility and work together for the development of Chenzhou mineral gemstone industry.

Vice Mayor Zhou Hailin attended the event and stressed that to promote the development of Chenzhou mineral gemstone industry and CMGE, we should have a good idea and pattern, a good subject, a good market and a good brand, consolidate the foundation and work together; should strengthen learning and exchange among industries, actively participate in the holding of CMGE and make every effort to promote the development of mineral gemstone industry.
