Anren County held a symposium of representatives of Taiwan businessmen, compatriots and relatives in 2019. At the meeting, General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Speech Spirit at the 40th Anniversary of the Publication of the Letter to Taiwan compatriots was revisited, and a series of favoured-Taiwanpolicies such as the Central Committee's "31 favoured-Taiwanarticles" and the province's "59 favoured-Taiwanarticles" were interpreted in detail.

At the meeting, representatives of Taiwanese businessmen, compatriots and relatives actively discussed the development of Taiwanese businessmen, shared the friendship of compatriots, and contributed to the peaceful promotion of cross-strait reunification and the development and expansion of the Anren economy. Everyone said that General Secretary Xi's speech was inspiring, pointing out the direction for the peaceful development of cross-strait relations in the new era.

After listening to the speech, Wang Guoliang fully affirmed their positive contribution to the economic and social development of Anren, and pointed out that we should adhere to the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping and promote cross-strait exchanges and cooperation in depth. He hoped that Taiwancompatriots, businessmen and relatives would play their advantages, play an active role, and make further efforts to lead more compatriots to invest in Anren, resolutely oppose the separatist act of "Taiwan independence", and make new and greater contributions to the maintenance of cross-strait peace and the reunification of the motherland. At the same time, he demanded all departments at all levels in the county should seriously implement the favoured-Taiwanpolicies of the central government and provinces and municipalities, with a more enthusiastic attitude and better service, and make every effort to create a good environment for Taiwanese businessmen and compatriots to invest, start businesses, work and live in Anren County.
