Recently, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government formulated and promulgated the "Annual Support and Award Measures for the Major Literary and Art Works in Chenzhou" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures") in order to promote the prosperity and development of Chenzhou's literary and art undertakings.

The Measures put forward that the Municipal Finance should set up a special fund of 2 million yuan per year to support and reward the achievements of Chenzhou's literary and art works, rewarding the units and individuals who have launched excellent works of literature and art, and the total amount of individual rewards can reach 500,000 yuan. Among them, the fine works of literature and art that can be applied for awards include literature, drama, film, television, music, art, Quyi, dance, folk literature and art, photography, calligraphy, acrobatics, literary and artistic criticism, animation and other excellent works.

The Measures stipulate that we should give support to promoting the socialist core values, embodying the cultural and spiritual connotations of Chenzhou, and exploring innovative literary and artistic works in art. The amount and grade of support will be determined according to different categories and factors such as artistic level, investment scale, originality and influence of the project. The maximum amount of support will not exceed 100,000 yuan for the collective and 30,000 yuan for the individual.

The awards for literary and artistic creation achievements are determined according to the award grade, award category, scale and influence degree of the awarded items. Among them, the award grades are mainly divided into five categories: national awards, provincial awards, works selected for the state or Hunan provincial stage projects, fine arts projects and other special literary and artistic projects, broadcasting dramas, TV dramas, movies and dramas broadcasted by the China Media Group or provincial radio stations, and municipal awards, the maximum award of not more than 500,000 yuan. Other specific projects not included in the Measures, including major projects determined by the Municipal Committee, the Municipal Government and the Ministry of Propaganda of the Municipal Committee, shall be given special support and awards by means of "one matter, one discussion".
