Our city has given full play to the role of the main channel for enterprises to absorb employment, given prominence to the employment and entrepreneurship services of college graduates, migrant workers and other groups, organized 316 special recruitment activities for enterprises and individuals, provided 98,000 jobs, achieved 31,500 employment intentions, and provided stable and new jobs and employment opportunities for key groups. At the same time, the city has improved the continuous monitoring and reporting system for key industries, key enterprises' job losses, employment and unemployment of employees in export enterprises and stop-production enterprises, and the return of labor force, focused on monitoring 100 enterprises in the city, grasped the real-time operation of enterprises, employment and employment of labor force, and done a comprehensive job of studying and judging the employment situation to provide accurate reference basis for decision-making of Municipal Committee and Municipal Government.
Our city also has focused on the development of point-to-point assistance, formulated special assistance programs for the city's enterprises severely impacted by Sino-US economic and trade frictions, and combined with the school-enterprise cooperation platform to arrange nearly 800 post assignments for enterprises, so as to effectively alleviate the employment problems of enterprises. Up to now, there has been no large-scale, industrial and regional unemployment caused by the shutdown of enterprises in the whole city. 45644 new urban employees have been added. The registered unemployment rate in cities and towns has been controlled within 3.5 percent and the overall employment situation has remained stable, which has effectively promoted the sustained and healthy development of the whole city's economy and society.
