From September 4 to 5, the Election Conference of Mental Health Management Committee of Hunan Hospital Association and the academic annual meeting of 2019 were held in Chenzhou City. Domestic experts and scholars gathered in Chenzhou to talk about the development of mental health.

At the conference, the approval of the "Appointment of the Chairman of the Professional Committee of Mental Health Management of Hunan Hospital Association" was read out, the letters of appointment were issued for the newly elected chairman and vice-chairman, and the licenses were awarded for the newly joined member units of the Hunan Mental Health Medical Association.

It was understood that in recent years, the mental health undertakings in our city have developed steadily, the management system of mental health work has been constantly improved, and the incidence of accidents caused by patients with severe mental disorders has decreased year by year; the resources of mental health care have increased dramatically. At present, there are 14 mental health medical institutions, which basically meet the needs of patients for medical treatment. The construction of mental health service system has been promoted step by step to increase people's demand for mental health services through strengthening propaganda, strengthening popular science, entering the community, entering the campus and other activities. Chenzhou Psychiatric Hospital, as the mental health center of the whole city, has a good momentum of development. This year, Chenzhou Psychiatric Hospital ushered in the 60th anniversary of its establishment. Last December, it successfully passed the accreditation of three-level hospitals and became the first three-level psychiatric hospital in Hunan Province.

At the meeting, many well-known experts from domestic and provincial related fields made academic speeches and discussed in depth the management and business development of mental health medical institutions under the new situation. Participants studied in depth the new progress of diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, and strengthened exchanges between mental health medical institutions.
