On the afternoon of September 4, the Xinhua Volunteer League held the launching ceremony of the new school year support activities in Liaojiawan School, Liangtian Town, Suxian District. More than 20 passionate volunteer teachers started the support activities here and 3 loving people donated zither and Kungfu clothes to Liaojiawan School.

The Xinhua Volunteer Alliance was founded in 2016 by Professor Zhou Xinhua, former President and Vice President of Music Institute of Xiangnan University, and Xiao Wei, member of the Suxian District CPPCC. Every Wednesday and Thursday, the volunteers went to the art training room of Liaojiawan School to offer free courses on zither, erhu, flute and piano for the children in the mountains. At present, the campaign has been carried out for four consecutive years, and the number of volunteer members has grown to more than 50. Over the past four years, the Xinhua Volunteer League has kindled children's music dreams in mountainous areas with love, completed more than 1,800 lessons in vocal and instrumental music teaching, donated nearly 200,000 yuan for Liaojiawan School and added about 100,000 yuan for music equipment.

Chen Shezhao, former Chairman of the Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC and Executive Director of the Municipal Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee, and Duan Tailin, former Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and Deputy Director of the Municipal Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee, attended the event.
