From January 28 to February 28, 2019, the first Nanguo Peony Flower Tourism Festival in Chenzhou was launched by Vanilla Town in Shigaitang Street, Beihu District, Chenzhou City. Southerners can see such beautiful northern peony flowers in Chenzhou.

The special peony ornamental garden, covering more than 30 mu, reproduces the architectural style and landscape of the flourishing Tang Dynasty, and concentrates more than 100,000 plants of 840 famous peony varieties at home and abroad. The garden is divided into the Peony Culture Area of the Tang Dynasty Architecture, the High-tech Four Seasons Peony Exhibition Area and the Peony Ornamental Area.

The Peony Flower Tourism Festival with the theme of "National Fragrance, World Blossoms", lasted for 30 days. There were more than 200 varieties in the garden and more than 20,000 peony trees blooming. Clusters of red, white, pink, yellow, purple, blue and green flowers were decorated with branches, which made visitors intoxicated and forget to return.

All along, peony can only blossom in the North, but the South people can only sigh at the flowers. In order to enable the general public to enjoy the fragrance of national flowers and peony in Chenzhou, after years of research and exploration, Guiyang Dongtai Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. finally introduced the technology of cultivating peony to Chenzhou City. In order to let the Chenzhou people really feel the special cultural flavor of southern peony, Nanguo Peony Garden planted 9 color series, nearly 20,000 peonies, and more than 60 years old "Peony King" appeared in Chenzhou, Fucheng City!

A tour of peony appreciation, peony painting, peony photography, peony writing, peony tea tasting, peony wine drinking, peony song singing, peony fairy hunting and enjoying flowers was grandly held here. Wonderful intangible cultural heritage Kunqu opera culture, painting and calligraphy peony culture, peony cheongsam show and other Chinese traditional culture were performed at the Festival.
