In order to celebrate the 35th Teacher's Day and promote the good trend of respecting teachers and promoting education in the whole society, on the morning of September 10, the Rucheng County Education Congress and the 35th Teacher's Day Celebration and Commendation Conference were solemnly held in the County People's Hall.

At the conference, two representatives of Young Pioneers made wonderful speeches for Teachers' Day; He Yihong, a national model teacher, made a personal advanced deeds speech; and a report on the county's education work was presented and a list of educational Awards was read out. Subsequently, the leaders presented awards to the units and individuals who were commended; 9 advanced educational units, 20 schools for education and teaching quality awards, and a total of 618 advanced individuals, including the outstanding contribution awards for education, top 10 class teachers and outstanding teachers in remote mountainous areas were commended, and more than 2 million yuan of funds were distributed.

The conference fully affirmed the achievements of the county's education work, and extended festive greetings and lofty respect to the teachers and educators in the county. The conference emphasized that if education flourishes, Rucheng County flourishes, and if education is strong, Rucheng County is strong. We should take responsibility for Rucheng County and the people and give priority to the development of education; should put the development of education in the first place, ensure that education keeps the initiative of the people, benefits the people and educates the people with love; should put the safety of campus at the top of the list and ensure that safety strings are tightened, safety lines are maintained and safety nets are built at all times; should love the people's teachers best, and ensure that the virtuous are respected, the dedicated are affirmed, and the devotees are encouraged.
