On the morning of September 12, CPPCC organized leading cadres of Party members to receive revolutionary traditional education in the Xiangnan Rebellion Memorial, held a conference on theme education of "staying true to our founding mission", and launched the theme education in an all-round way. Li Ping, Party Secretary and Chairman of the CPPCC, attended and delivered a speech.

In front of the Xiangnan Rebellion Memorial, Li Ping held up his right fist solemnly in front of the Party flag and led to review the pledge of joining the Party. Subsequently, they went to the Xiangnan Rebellion Memorial for a visit. After the visit and study, the CPPCC held a working conference on the theme of "staying true to our founding mission".

The conference demanded that we should deeply understand the urgency of developing thematic education to arm our minds with Xi Jinping's Socialist Thought with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, promote the construction of the CPPCC, maintain the flesh-and-blood relationship between the CPC and the people, and implement the high-quality development requirements of Chenzhou; should accurately grasp the overall requirements, objectives, tasks, methods and steps of thematic education to ensure the orderly promotion of thematic education; should comprehensively promote the four key measures of learning and education, investigation and research, inspection of problems, rectification and implementation, implement the requirements of "inventory management", combine learning with doing, integrate investigation and improvement, and promote the organic integration of the four key measures throughout.

Cao Jianping, who is Vice-Secretary and Vice-Chairman of CPPCC, CPPCC members Chen Fangmin, Xie Kaofeng and Xu Benhua, and Secretary-General Yang Saibao participated; Vice-Chairmen of CPPCC Wang Dong, Dou Zhijie and Wu Guanghui were invited to participate.
