On September 15, Dacun Village, Jingpo Town, Rucheng County, held the 2019 China (Rucheng) Peasant Harvest Festival and the signing of the strategic cooperation contract of Rucheng Sanhui Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.

The Harvest Festival was another harvest achievement of Sanhui Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. in planting giant rice, and also an important manifestation of Rucheng County's agricultural and rural development.

Rucheng County is the birthplace of Chinese farming civilization. Since ancient times, there has been a fine tradition of emphasizing agriculture and strengthening agriculture. In recent years, Rucheng County has firmly established the concept of green development, taken the structural reform of agricultural supply side as the main direction, and striven to promote the high-quality development of agriculture.

Lu Ming, former Vice-minister of the Ministry of Agriculture of China, fully affirmed the development of agricultural industry in Rucheng County. He hoped that Rucheng County would take the road of integration of urban and rural development and integrate rural revitalization with new urbanization after the successful completion of poverty alleviation; would use urbanization to promote rural revitalization, and do good job in roads, drinking water, education, medical treatment, garbage cleaning, toilet revolution, and sewage treatment; would train new professional farmers, cultivate new farmers, solve the problem of who will plant the land and who will build a new countryside, and continue to strengthen skills training so that they can master modern knowledge; would encourage and guide industrial and commercial capital to the countryside, support successful entrepreneurs to return home and start their own businesses, and effectively inject strong impetus into the economic development of Rucheng County.

On the harvest festival site, farmers' friends also held happy singing and dancing performances, which were rich and colorful and splendid, fully demonstrating the fruitful achievements of Rucheng farmers in rural development, poverty alleviation and rural revitalization. Leading guests were also organized to visit the giant rice base and experience harvesting on site.
