Recently, "The Stroy of Black Stone", a new edition and succession edition of Kun Opera, selected by Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism was performed at the Sixth Silk Road International Art Festival for two consecutive performances at the Xi'an Radio and Television Theatre.

After the troupe arrived in Xi'an, in order to ensure that the performance presented the highest level of the troupe, Chen Changyuan, Party Secretary of the Municipal Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau, and Long Xiaohua, Deputy Director, held a mobilization meeting for the event overnight and put forward work requirements.

Before the performance, Gu Jinsong, a member and Deputy Director of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, awarded the "Silk Road Culture Contribution Award" to Hunan Kunju Opera Troupe on behalf of the organizing committee, and Chen Changyuan received the award.

"The Stroy of Black Stone" chooses Liu Zhan's wife as the starting point, showing the noble character of an official's wife. For her husband's ambition and the principle of being an official, she can pay her own property, eliminate her vanity and sacrifice her glory. So a living Li family was born on the stage of Kunqu Opera.

The climax of the plot, aesthetic visual art, and meticulous characterization won the approval of the audience on the spot. During the performance, the audience spontaneously gave warm applause again and again. With the development of the plot, many audiences devoted themselves wholeheartedly to watching the whole performance with tears in their eyes.

The success of the performance has made positive contributions to the construction of a "strong cultural province" in Hunan Province and the creation of a bright cultural business card in Chenzhou City.
