On September 10, Guiyang County held a farewell ceremony for recruits in 2019. Peng Shengzhi, Secretary of the County Party Committee and first Secretary of the Party Committee of the County People's Armed Forces Department, sent a message to recruits. All recruits should remember their mission, listen to the Party's command and make contributions to their career so as to become qualified soldiers in the army's modernization drive.

This year, a total of 182 school-age youths in Guiyang County passed strict physical examination and political examination, and became glorious soldiers of the PLA and the armed police. The first 147 recruits officially went to the military camp on September 10.

Peng Shengzhi warmly congratulated all the recruits who had been recruited gloriously. He pointed out that recruits should bear in mind their mission, have ideological preparations that are not afraid of difficulties and hardships, have a sense of discipline that is obedient to command and strict requirements, have self-conscious actions that help the army practice martial arts and improve their skills, and have an ambition to take root in military camps and build a career; should strive hard to adapt to the army life as soon as possible and integrate into the fiery barracks life so that you can grow into excellent talents and qualified soldiers in the modernization of the army; should cherish the limited time of army life, strengthen quality, build image, learn expertise, and make positive contributions to the economic and social development of the hometown.

Yang Zhengliang, Standing Committee of County Committee and Political Committee of Ministry of County People's Armed Forces Department, delivered a farewell speech. Moxiong, Standing Committee of County Committee and Standing Vice-Governor of County Committee, participated in the activities.
