On September 22, 2019 Hunan International Cultural Tourism Festival opened in Mangshan of Yizhang County. In recent years, Hunan Province has vigorously developed global tourism, combined tourism with poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, promoted the construction of a large number of beautiful villages in the countryside, attracting many tourists and promoting the increase of villagers' income and the development of various undertakings in the countryside. Shawankong Rashamondi highly praised our province's practice of increasing farmers' income and getting rich through global tourism.
Hunan Province and Laos have maintained close cooperation. In recent years, high-level visits, economic and trade exchanges and non-governmental exchanges between the two sides have become increasingly frequent. The cooperation between the two sides in cultural tourism and other fields is being pragmatically promoted, and the implementation will be accelerated.
Shawankong Rashamondi highly appreciated the practice of "two projects and five systems" in developing cultural tourism in Hunan Province. He said that this cultural tourism festival will be an opportunity to feel and appreciate the beautiful landscapes and charming humanities of Hunan Province. At the same time, he will learn from Hunan's cultural and tourism development experience and good practices, and bring what he saw, heard and felt back to his country to share with colleagues and friends.
In order to further deepen the tourism cooperation between Laos and Hunan Province and enhance the cultural exchanges, Shawankong Rashamendi said that at the end of this year, the Lao Consulate in Changsha will also organize a series of cultural propaganda activities with the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism to further promote the tourism of Laos, promote poverty alleviation and economic development through the development of tourism.
