In order to eulogize the glorious deeds and revolutionary spirit of the Women's Red Army in the Long March, from September 17 to September 20, the Women's Institute of the National Women's Federation and the Hunan Institute of Women's Studies conducted an investigation on the Women's Red Army in Chenzhou City.

Chenzhou City is an important place for the Long March of the Central Red Army. On this land, red fires were spread, magnificent and sobbing chapters were written, many moving stories were left behind, and many outstanding women Red Army of the Long March emerged.

The investigation lasted for four days. The team visited Suxian District, Rucheng County and Yizhang County in Chenzhou City, focusing on the data of the Long March of the Central Red Army, especially the Women's Red Army in Chenzhou. According to the introduction, the purpose of this investigation was to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping's socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the spirit of the Nineteenth National Congress of the CPC, vigorously carry out the theme education of "staying true to our founding mission", deeply understand the initiative and mission of the CPC leading the women's movement and women's work, and better inherit and carry forward the red spirit.
