During the National Day, the Mangshan Wuzhi Peak Scenic Spot in Yizhang County opened, welcoming a large number of tourists from Guangdong and Hunan Province. Tourists were shocked by the longest 3.7 kilometers cableway in China, the longest 8 kilometers suspended trestle road in South China and the strange rock landscape. After the Hunan International Cultural Tourism Festival (Mangshan), Yizhang Cultural Tourism became more popular.

During National Day, Mangshan Wuzhi Peak Scenic Spot launched a discount of less than half price of 200 yuan per package ticket; Mangshan Forest Hot Spring Hotel specially launched the theme activities of "Mangshan Popular Hot Spring Festival", experiencing the hanging all-transparent hot spring pool, delicious foods and mountain Yao amorous feelings; Jiangjunzhai Scenic Spot and Houwangzhai Scenic Spot have been upgraded to attract self-driving tourists.

According to statistics, during the 7 days of the National Day Golden Week, the county received 908,300 tourists, and realized a total tourism income of 721.54 million yuan, an increase of 79.86 percent and 98.45 percent respectively over the same period in 2018. Among them, Mangshan Scenic Spot received 242,856 tourists, and its ticket revenue was 2.50425 million yuan, an increased of 82.74 percent and 109.45 percent respectively.
