The total amount of blood donation amounted to 370,000 ml, which was the largest number of people participating in the blood donation in the past years.

On October 2, Tan Jianjun and Wang Juncai took part in the first blood donation for free at Wuling Square Blood Donation Point. Both husband and wife are from Liangtian Town, Suxian District. Occasionally, they saw the propaganda of blood donation knowledge. After deeply understanding the benefits of blood donation and the policy of free blood use, they decided to take part in blood donation during the National Day, add a health insurance policy to themselves, and also help others to convey their love.

It was understood that this year, Chenzhou City has actively promoted the transformation of the work mode of unpaid blood donation. Five new blood donation points have been added to serve the citizens in the urban area of Chenzhou. Each County (city) has actively developed its characteristic work mode of unpaid blood donation, and the atmosphere of unpaid blood donation in Chenzhou has been significantly strengthened. During the National Day holiday this year, 930 people donated blood free of charge, an increase of nearly 200 people compared with last year. Among them, 434 people donated blood in seven counties and cities, Zixing City, Guiyang County, Yizhang County, Yongxing County, Jiahe County, Linwu County and Anren County.
