On October 12, the first meeting of the third session of Hunan Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce was held in Changsha City. Chenzhou City, as the only city and state representative, appeared on the stage for investment promotion. Wang Heping, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Head of the United Front Department of the Municipal Party Committee, participated in the promotion meeting to promote the three key industries of our city, namely, culture and tourism industry, mineral gem industry and advanced equipment manufacturing industry.

Wang Heping, on behalf of the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, extended a sincere invitation to the overseas Chinese merchants present at the meeting. He welcomed overseas Chinese at home and abroad to Chenzhou City for leisure, vacation, tourism, investment and joint development. Wang Heping said that in recent years, Chenzhou City has vigorously implemented the strategy of "innovation leading, opening up and rising" and "industry leading, all-round development", and the city's comprehensive strength has increased significantly. At the same time, Chenzhou City has perfect open platform and is the leading force to promote the construction of industrial transfer demonstration zone in southern Hunan and Western Hunan. Chenzhou export processing zone has been upgraded to a comprehensive bonded zone, and the national demonstration logistics park, Xiangnan International Logistics Park, has realized direct customs clearance and export. This year, the State Council approved Chenzhou City to build a national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration zone; Chenzhou City took the lead in implementing the "one-time completion" reform of government services and the establishment of the "1 + X" administrative approval follow-up supervision system in the whole province. In 2018, Chenzhou City was rated as the" Top 10 cities in China's Business Environment (case of prefecture level cities)"; in January 2019, Chenzhou City was awarded the "2018 China Development Business Environment Award", becoming one of the 10 cities in China that won the award.

At the meeting, 3 overseas Chinese business projects in our city were signed, involving mineral crystal (jewelry) industry, consumption poverty alleviation technology cooperation, food export strategic cooperation, etc.
