Recently, Hu Aijun, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Meteorological Bureau, and his delegation went to Zixing Meteorological Bureau to carry out a special investigation on agrometeorological services. Wang Chuanqing, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of Chenzhou Meteorological Bureau participated in the investigation.

At the meeting, the person in charge of Zixing Meteorological Bureau reported on services for agriculture, thematic education, disaster prevention and mitigation, etc. Zixing Meteorological Bureau undertakes the work of Chenzhou agricultural meteorological experimental station. The observation of double season rice starts from sowing in March every year, and ends in late October. Every year, Zixing Meteorological Bureau need issue agrometeorological information, special report of spring ploughing and spring sowing, special report of summer harvest and summer seed, special report of autumn harvest and autumn seed, etc., which should be sent to other county bureaus of Chenzhou, relevant responsible units of Zixing City and large grain growers. In 2019, it undertook the special work of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" service, and carried out the comparative observation of double season rice varieties for three consecutive years.

Hu Aijun fully affirmed the work of Zixing Meteorological Bureau, and put forward three requirements for the construction of foundation, strong ability and service. He said that through this inspection, we will have a clearer understanding of the contradictions existing in the grass-roots meteorological services. Next, we will focus on solving them, and improve the professional ability of the front-line meteorological service personnel as soon as possible, so that they can become meteorological soldiers who work for the farmers and the people.
