On the evening of October 23, the South RV Camping Convention, one of the series activities of Hunan (Autumn) Rural Culture Tourism Festival, opened in Xiyao Green Valley National Forest Park, Linwu County. Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the opening ceremony. Gao Yang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, announced the opening ceremony. Deputy Mayor He Jianxiang delivered a speech.

The South RV Camping Convention is jointly initiated by 45 RV clubs in Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi and Hong Kong and Macao. Under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the China Tourism Vehicle and Boat Association, it was founded in 2018. It is one of the major tourism activities in our province and has gradually become one of the largest RV camping conventions in China. In this year's convention, 100 RV vehicles from nearly 30 cities in five provinces of central and southern China participated, and 9 cities in the Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Greater Bay Area were specially invited to send RV vehicles and representatives to attend the activities.

In her speech, He Jianxiang introduced the basic urban conditions of Chenzhou and the development status of self driving RV tourism industry, as well as the advantages of developing self driving RV tourism. He Jianxiang said that Chenzhou City is an ideal tourist destination for self driving vehicles because of its superior location, convenient transportation, beautiful scenery and good ecology. Linwu County is an important base for the development of self driving tour and camper RV industry in Chenzhou, which has a number of unique scenic spots and natural scenery, especially suitable for the development of RV camping and other leisure industries.

At the opening ceremony, He Jianxiong, Director of self driving tourism research base of China Tourism Vehicle and Boat Association, presented the plaque of "Pilot Unit for Standardization Construction of Self Driving RV Camp" to Xiyao Green Valley National Forest Park.
