On the morning of October 24, 2019 Hunan (Autumn) Rural Cultural Tourism Festival opened at Qinshuiguan Cultural Square, Qinhan Ancient Road, Linwu County. Yi Pengfei, Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, announced the opening. Gao Yangxian, Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, respectively delivered speeches.

With the theme of "Beautiful Autumn in Southern Hunan, Hunan and Guangdong in the Family", the rural cultural tourism festival was sponsored by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Chenzhou Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports and Linwu County People's Government. It included the opening ceremony, the ancient series of activities in southern Hunan, the show series of activities in southern Hunan and the rhyme series of activities in southern Hunan. More than 890 experts, travel agents, media and heads of relevant departments from Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi and other provinces were invited to participate in the festival.

At the opening ceremony, Linwu tourism products and high-quality tourism routes were released and the guide to enjoy eating, drinking and playing in Linwu and the beautiful countryside was introduced to the on-site guests. The song and dance, sitcoms, flash shows and other art performances with martial arts characteristics were also very wonderful, attracting applause from the audience. During the festival, more than 10 cultural tourism activities were launched, including the second Nanling tourism development seminar, camping convention, high-quality line inspection, micro film exhibition and broadcasting activities, the second gems cultural tourism festival, free tour in Linwu County, characteristic tourism product exhibition and gourmet taste and online selection.

During the event, relevant leaders, guests, experts, scholars and travel enterprises from Hunan and Guangdong regions were invited to participate in the second Nanling tourism development seminar, and the excellent rural tourism routes of Hunan and Guangdong were launched to deepen the tourism interaction between Hunan and Guangdong, realize the mutual complementation and win-win cooperation between Hunan and Guangdong, and promote the development of Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Greater Bay Area and the cultural tourism economic belt of southern Hunan. At the same time, more than 30 media were invited for investigation and folk art collection.

During the festival, Linwu County comprehensively presented Shun Culture, Dragon Culture, Jade Culture and Qixi Culture in combination with local characteristics. At the same time, it highlighted the regional characteristics, reproduced the original scenery of Qin and Han Dynasties, and carried out activities such as visiting the ancient roads of the Qin and Han Dynasties, experiencing the folk culture, farming culture, market culture, food culture, marriage culture, marketplace culture, tea culture, military culture, welcome culture, etc.
