On October 28, Vice Mayor He Zunqing led a team to investigate the reserve of the forest fire prevention and flood control, and other emergency materials in the city.
He Zunqing and his party successively went to Xianling reservoir flood control material warehouse and fire protection equipment warehouse of the Municipal Forestry Bureau to check the rescue equipment and disaster preparedness material storage of the emergency rescue material storage warehouse on the spot, understand the team construction, personnel composition, skill training and check accounts, and understand the emergency rescue material storage situation and the current difficulties in our city in detail.
It was understood that the city has reserved a certain number of mobile water pumps, rubber boats, piling machines and other emergency rescue equipment for flood control and drought relief, with a reserve of about 2 million yuan; 188 tents, 1520 quilts, 2460 coats and other life relief materials. At the same time, the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau obtained 800 quilts, 800 folding beds and 600 folding stools from the Provincial Emergency Management Department this year, which were directly distributed to counties (cities and districts).
He Zunqing pointed out that we should put the maintenance of people's life and property safety in the first place, attach great importance to the emergency management material reserve work, unify the planning, reserve and dispatch, further improve the reserve mechanism, accurately and reasonably standardize the reserve, and establish a timely and real-time allocation mechanism. Before the emergency material reserve is handed over, the relevant departments should continue to take their own responsibilities, strengthen communication and coordination, cooperate in the construction of emergency relief projects and emergency material reserve, jointly improve and strengthen the construction of material reserve system in our city, and always make preparations for "flood prevention, disaster resistance and major risks".
