On October 29, the founding conference and the first meeting of the first Council of the New Social Stratum Association were held, marking that the United Front Work of the new social stratum in the city has entered a new stage of development. Long Jianxiang, Deputy Director of the United Front Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and Wang Heping, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the United Front Department of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the meeting, the "Articles of Chenzhou New Social Stratum Association" and the "Election Measures of Chenzhou New Social Stratum Association" were deliberated and adopted, and the first council president, executive president, vice president, secretary general and executive director of Chenzhou New Social Stratum Association were elected. 117 representatives of the new social stratum in the city were elected as directors.

On behalf of the United Front Department of the Provincial Party Committee, Long Jianxiang extended warm congratulations on the establishment of the New Social Stratum Association in our city. He stressed that people of new social stratum should "unite" under the banner of the Party, firmly listen to the Party's words and follow the Party, and maintain a high degree of consistency with the Party Central Committee in ideological and political actions; should organize together, take social responsibility, participate in social governance, and strive to be a model for promoting social harmony and stability; should take the lead in building a clear cyberspace, maintain ideological security, and earnestly sing the main theme and carry forward positive energy; should give full play to the advantages and strive to make contributions to the promotion of Hunan and Chenzhou's high-quality development with their wisdom and strength.

Wang Heping requested that the Municipal New Social Stratum Association should grasp the right direction, adhere to the leadership of the Party, strengthen unity guidance, strengthen political participation and enhance the leading force; deepen the cooperation with the league, strengthen the training and recommendation, bravely assume social responsibility, play a positive role and enhance the influence; strengthen its own construction, play the role of the main body of the directors, establish and improve the operation and management mechanism and enhance the organizational power.
