On October 29, it was learned from the 2019 Hunan Economic Cooperation Conference and the 9th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs that Suxian District and Linghang Education Investment Co., Ltd. signed the Chenzhou Vocational Education City project with a total investment of 3 billion yuan, which was another fruitful achievement of Suxian District's large-scale investment promotion.

Chenzhou Vocational Education City project is planned to be located in the southwest of Feitianshan Tourist Reception Center, Feitianshan Town, covering an area of about 3300 mu, with 43000 students enrolled. It is planned to build about 1.5 million square meters including teaching building, office, scientific research, training base, affiliated secondary hospital, cultural and sports and teaching staff supporting community.

Qu Qiyun, the legal representative of Hunan Linghang Education Investment Co., Ltd., the investor, introduced that the Vocational Education City is based on Chenzhou and faces the national enrollment, opening a new order based talent training mode, integrates the local industrial development and enterprise demand into the talent training goal, adheres to the school running path of "school enterprise integration, industry education integration, highlighting practical combat and application", and achieves the goal of entry and graduation as soon as entering the school to ensure high employment rate and high income of students; adheres to international cooperation, fully introduces vocational education training standards of Germany, the United States and other developed countries, and builds vocational education city into "Tsinghua" and "Peking University" of China's vocational education industry. Enrollment majors include aircraft maintenance, gemstone identification and processing, leisure and tourism health care, intelligent manufacturing and robot engineering, computer software programming, industrial automation, financial accounting, medical care and other popular majors.

Qu Qiyun said that the reason why the project chose to settle in Suxian District is not only because of the beautiful environment and advantaged geographical transportation location of Feitian mountain, but also because of the patient and attentive service of cadres and staff in Suxian District.

Liao Zhigang, Deputy Director of the Project Office, introduced that after the signing of the framework agreement on September 5 this year, the district quickly established the project construction coordination headquarters, with Feng Haiyan, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Chenzhou High-tech Zone and Secretary of the Suxian District Party Committee as the consultant, Li Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Director as the commander, and district leaders Xiao Liang, Huang Bin, Cao Qiao and Gao Jing as the Deputy Commanders. The headquarters consists of a comprehensive office, a staff resettlement group, a land acquisition and demolition group, a cost accounting group, a procedure approval group and an environmental optimization group. Each of the six working groups performs its own duties, clearing the way for the formal settlement of the project in terms of docking with investors, land supply procedures for approval, policy publicity, etc.
